Hey everyone... I just installed 7.5 that I downloaded from this site.
Followed all the instructions and it seems that I have some kind of admin loop.

After I created the Super User... I was prompted to log in. When I did so I was brought to the Admin Panel.
BUT...... When I try to use anything in the admin panel I am prompted to log in again..... then I am brought back to the admin panel..... and so on and so on.

I tried searching for an answer but I found 0

Thanks
Roady

Is this on Windows? Are you using Apache or IIS?

hmmm... thats a tough question.
I have to do some research. the host is ipowerweb.com
I am not sure the OS they use but I called them.

Why does this matter? (I am a newbie can you tell?)

The environment can cause problems, but I've a feeling this is more related to your Mac, although I can't be certain. When you can't stay logged in, that is usually a cookie related issue. Can you log in and stay logged in as a regular user?

No I cannot stay logged on as regular user either....

also the activation email was sent to me pointing to phpnuke.org... Where do I correct this at?

I have been using Osc2nuke for the last year and it works ok.
I think I had this same problem with the cookies before and I had to chmod a file (i think)

You change that in the Admin Control Panel -> Preferences -> Site Url setting. Try deleting all your browser cookies and flushing your browser cache.
