Recently upgraded my 6.5 to the above and everything is running smooth except sentinel is blocking half of my forum users from replying to threads.

I was trying to post the string but it seems even this forum blocks it. So I will attach an image:

Can someone please tell me why sentinel is doing this?

Is it safe to turn off abuse blocker?

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Could you clarify what upgrade you did? It's not at all clear what you did. You mention 6.5 ... was that PHPnuke 6.5. What exact version of Nuke and what exact version of Sentinel are you running now?

Thanks for your reply.

Old Phpnuke 6.5 >> Phpnuke 7.6 Patch 3.3
Sentinel 2.x >> 2.5.07

I think it detects the < as some kind of bad HTML code in there. Of course I could be wrong on that.

What is the actual message that is shown to the user before all the user info stuff?

Just curious, take out the "^" and the "<" and see if you get blocked.
