My "User Info" and "Who is Where" blocks show people online who have long since left. I have tried everything from setting Cookie Expiration time to 10 min to haveing cookies delete on exit of site. I have read that other have had this issue, but no threads have been answered with a working solution.. if any. The block itself refreshes every 60 secs. so it cannot be a code in the block itself (or so i would believe).

Some threads state that there is a "SessionTimeout" script that can be edited on my site or host but I cannot seem to find where it would be. Anyone know how to fix this.

Sessions are cleared by these two lines

in mainfile.php
Code:

  $past = time()-3600;
  $sql = "DELETE FROM ".$prefix."_session WHERE time < '$past'";

Change the time value to the number of seconds that people should remain "online"... easy as that. Smile

Thanks again. Evaders at Nukeresources.com has a fix... works like a charm.

Yes thanks.. I always download a .php and then rename the one on the server as php.old before I upload the edited file. Then if there are any problems I can revert back. Thanks for the help.
