How can I turn function fopen() in my site?

Hi,

If fopen is off on my server is there any way to turn it on only in my site?

Unfortunately, the setting you want is only accessible through php.ini - allow_url_fopen [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

incorrect allow_url_fopen is something totally different.

echo ini_get('disable_functions');

What djmaze? Are you saying allow_url_fopen has no affect on fopen?

allow_url_fopen is a setting that sets the wrapper for fopen to allow you to use FULL urls and not just server paths. fopen in itself is a completely different function and I have no idea how to activate it site to site bases if it is disabled from the root of the server.

allow_url_fopen will allow this fopen('http://spomesite.com/file.ext') where by default its set to off and will only allow server paths to be used.
