Posting to forums: General Error

When I visit a certain php-nuke site which has recently been redone (the admin installed 7.8 against my specific recommendations for RN20202). When I try to post something to the forums I get this error:

Could not connect to smtp host : 10060 : A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

File : smtp.php

I found that the entry IS getting posted dispite the error.

This error does not occur when I try to edit a post, only when making a new one.

Any ideas? As far as I know he has not made any modifications to the 7.8 code.

Usually that means there are some settings for SMTP in your Forums Configuration. Check them and make sure that mail server is up and working
