Are you talking about deleting old smilies by chance? Let us know the specifics.

plain does not work. getting red x-s instead of smilies Sad
If I set one path under Forum administration -> General Admin -> Configuration -> Smilies Storage Path, I get red x-s in the admin screen, if another - on forums themselves....

Not sure why you are having to change the default smilie paths? I have never done this. I will have to defer to others on this one.

just because it never worked properly Sad I did not really bother and kept it the way that allowed it to work properly for users until I decided to add more smilies...

I know that there are several "issues" being worked on for Ravennuke 2.10 that seem like they may relate to this. I have not looked at them in any detail myself so I can't tell if fixing those issues will also resolve the problem you are seeing. Maybe we will just have to wait and see when 2.10 is released. I will try to remember to test this when the issues are reported as being resolved.

OK, means I have to live with this or just to hardcode the path into smilies admin Smile

In modules/Forums/admin/admin_smilies.php

Code:

FIND

if ($cancel)
{
   redirect('admin/' . append_sid("admin_smilies.$phpEx", true));
}

AFTER, ADD

$smilie_tmp = $board_config['smilies_path'];
$board_config['smilies_path'] = ereg_replace("modules/Forums/", "", "$smilie_tmp");

Ok, I see that this is already fixed in 2.10.00. Good.

Yep that was the only issue I found from 2.0.21 that I could duplicate and fix. Other errors.. well we'll see when 2.10.00 gets out

Well, the good news (or bad news?) is that 2.10.00 is 2.0.21...
