Membership block problem

Hi

I have noticed on mysite and others that the block is no longer recording stats for most members online.

The stats now just say

Most Ever Online
· Total 31
· Members 0
· Visitors 31

Members all ways show: 0 unless someone is logged out and only then he shows in the members line.

Any ideas as to why?

hard to tell...
most of that stuff isnt realy all that accurate.
delete it,install it again ,and / or move it to another place...(left,right)
see what happens.

umm I dont think this is the problem.

this problem can be caused due to a wrong googletap maybe?

Googletap ?
No why....?
The block fetches its query results from the database and non of that is converted...
googletap only effects active links..

Umm I think that maybe the Your Account module is not sending the "Online" command. is this posible?

UMM OK, listen to this:

If a user log in he see your account index.php. the url of the login is:

modules.php?name=Your_Account&amp;op=userinfo&amp;bypass=1&amp;username=prekill

The actual user status is "offline".

then if the user goes to this page (using googletap) - account.html which is your account index.php page too. now the actual user status is "online" + the user now appears in the block.

so what the problem that case the user not to show as online after the first login without the need to enter the your account index page once again?

well it could easely be a conflict with one of your scripts.
as fas as i know off googletap can never effect any online stats.
Is the block tapped as well?

No the block is not tapped.

umm what will happand if I will change the login code in index.php from what I posted to just account.html?

this might work?

normaly speaking the block has to be tapped to....

well.. changing the code

fixed the problem. everything works good now Laughing
