Hello,

Has anyone seen this problem? After a clean install, I go to the page and here is the error I get:

------------------------------------------------------
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/httpd/vhosts/saintlucifer.com/httpdocs/index.php on line 15

Fatal error: Failed opening required '/mainfile.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /home/httpd/vhosts/saintlucifer.com/httpdocs/index.php on line 15
------------------------------------------------------

I'm hoping someone in here has seen this because I've tried several things including:

1- Checking the PHP.INI file for the line that has "open_basedir" to see if it is commented...It is.
2- Confirming the files are in the correct location.
3- Experimenting with the "/" in front of the filename.

I really appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

Save this code to a file called info.php and run it
Code:
<?

phpinfo();
?>

Verify that open_basedir is not set.

Look closer. The LOCAL value is set to
/home/httpd/vhosts/saintlucifer.com/httpdocs:/tmp

That would be the source of your problem.

How do I edit out that info? I don't see that string anywhere in the PHP.INI file.

It would appear, then, that it could be in a .htaccess file. Or, are you sure you're looking at the correct php.ini file? phpinfo() shows several ini files:

Configuration File (php.ini) Path /etc/php.ini

Scan this dir for additional .ini files /etc/php.d

additional .ini files parsed
/etc/php.d/imap.ini,
/etc/php.d/ldap.ini,
/etc/php.d/mysql.ini

Apparently, a new install did the trick. I don't what I did wrong the first time, but after wiping everything clean and starting over, success!

Thanks for your help, Raven!

ps - My daughter's name is Raven Smile What a cool name!

Great! What middle name did you pick out to go along with Raven?

Actually, we originally named her Raven Lee, but there were some complications at birth and we got freaked out with the Bruce Lee story and a possible hex, so we changed it to Alex Raven, she turned out perfect...so we named the business after her as well Smile [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Thanks for your help Raven!
