Custom header buttons move around the banner area

Hello, maybe some one can help me with this problem. I have moved some buttons up into the part of the header that used to have the banner and I am trying to move them down a bit. I can't for the life of me figure this out. Here is a pic of what i mean:

anyone has an idea that would be great.. It allways just centers the buttons in the right area but I want to move them down to look like they are not floating in the air..lol Thanks!
