HTML allowed in forum profiles?

Sorry if this has been answered, I've searched but no luck yet so posting for help Smile

There are a few fields in the forum profile that I would like to allow some basic HTML. How can I change it so that only certain (or all if I have to) allows some html. Right now if you enter HTML is displays the code as text.

Does it have anything to do with this part of the code in usercp_register.php :

Code:

$music = stripslashes($music);

or

Code:

$music = htmlspecialchars(stripslashes($music));

Just a guess, but in forum admin, find this section User and Forum Basic Settings and try messing with these 2 settings
Allow HTML Yes No (Set this to Yes)

Allowed HTML tags b,i,u,pre
Separate tags with commas

I already have both set. HTML allowed and added all the most basic html tags in the allowed list, still doesn't work on forum profile page though....just in the forums.

htmlspecialchars will change html tags rendering them useless, where you take it out from will depend on what field you want to allow them in.
