Having completed a new 'Sign Guestbook' entry and then gone to Preview the entry before 'Adding to Guestbook' the email entry is dropped.

Is this in the nuke version or the stand alone version? Have you made any configuration changes or is this vanilla? |

Version 5.1.1
I assume Stand alone version as I don't understand what Nuke is?
Plain vanilla no changes - I like it like it is.

It solved it on my test site. You need to be running Apache as your web server and your host setup must allow .htaccess overrides. |

My host informs me that register_globals cannot be enabled at an .htaccess level, as it is disabled for the safety of our equipment against other customer's scripts which could be compromised as a result of potentially mishandling variables in their script.
However the problem seems to have now disappeared!!

Do you have the .htaccess file in place? The only way it could have disappeared is if it is enabled. Save this script to your site and run it. Then report back what the register_globals global and local values are. |

Okay, take that down now as hackers could use that information. I sure don't understand how it could be working now. Very puzzling for sure, but if it works, so be it |
