Upgrade from 6.8 to 7.6

Raven , please help me.
I do not know that much about php, phpnuke, but all i want is to have my site running.
I was using phpnuke 6.8 offered by my hosting company.
Everything have been going GREAT for more than 15 months, until suddenly they decided to upgrade their services by upgrading to 7.6.
Which came to affect my church website.
Unfortunately, if i TRY TO LOGIN IN ADMIN, i RECEIVE "Acces denied"
All my modules and blocks on the site have disappeared.
I do not have any link icon.
This site had more than 500 pages of news.
I found A patch, however I am scared to loose all these 500 pages .
Should I start from scratch or do I have an option?

PS, I love 7.6 version, however I just had fear of messing up during upgrade.
But now my fears are real.

Wow. Great host. They obviously did not perform the upgrade correctly and w/o your permission, well, I'd find another host ASAP.

Now, as to your problem, before we go any further, do you have a recent backup?

No i do not have any recent upgrade, or any upgrade at all.
Never perform any upgrade since the site has been running.
I used to think to perform one, but did not have any worry or rush to do one.
But now, i see the importance.
I am screwed up.

Your host doesn't backup your site nightly, weekly, and monthly?

I really do not know, but I am about to call and ask them, or ask them to fix the problem since it is their mistake.
What do you think?
