IF no one has any bug reports we'll be be updating CNB Your_Account 750 440 beta1 to beta2 with the fixes provided and some additional updates soon.

If you have any concerns with this version please make them known now so that we can address them before releasing the next beta package.

Hi, Six - just a question - the CNB site is difficult to understand (I don't speak Portuguese...). Does the 750 imply that it works with 7.5 and higher, not previous versions of phpNuke?

Hi kguske,
Actually is works on older nuke versions as well.
Because in phpnuke 7.5 the admin files moved to the modules directory,
CNBYA includes additionel files to upload if you want to use it on phpnuke 7.4 or older.

If no urgent matters are suggested in the meantime, the next beta release (CNBYA 4.4 beta2) is up for release somwhere halfway next week. Wink

fixes will include:
- corrected cookiecheckroutine
- corrected default hidden member status
- corrected off site avatar fix
- corrected validate emailchange function
- security fixes (YA bug)
- small HTML compliant fixes

This next beta version (beta2) will serve as a stable baseline from which we want to continue to improve CNBYA by added more features to it (believe me, you ain't seen nothing yet...), continuously update it to the latest security standards Smile, and to clean up code so that the least possible ammount of database queries are used.

Hold your breath until beta2 is released. (actually don't try that at home)

The future of 'phpnuke' membership administration is here...

Cheers,
Richard

PS. I thought i'd warm you guys up a little bit, hope it did. Wink

Thank you Richard. I'll install it on a test site and let you know if I have any problems.

I can't wait until someone designs a script for selling memberships (to admin defined downloads and/or special forums).

It would be nice to be able to have an automated paypal solution allowing users to upgrade their various membership levels to obtain access to admin defined features based on those membership levels.

Smile

I want the ability to charge FB to download my scripts too.

Steph, check out NSN Paypal, which works with NSN GR Downloads.

Yep I think that particular feature is best left to carts and apps designed to handle it from the beginning. We could see a simple paid memberships integration but I don't think it will be complex enough to handle access at the level you describe except through NSN groups and like kguske says that already exists at NSN.

Well, there are actually a few of these type of paid solutions, I was just hoping to see a marriage of these features sometime....
