Hello all, as the title suggests I have a problem with my sites sub category Overriding of the metal tags more specifically the title.
When I put in a basic title like Black Bream, the title it creates is below...

<title>Black Bream - sea-blackbream - Sea fishing - Sea Fishing</title>

Is it not possible to just allow the Black Bream title and not the module and site name added etc ?

Thanks for any idea`s all

On which way you are trying to override it? With the SEO button or file-based?

Hello neralex, I am trying to override it using the Override META Tags link when using the SEO button.
I thought initially it would simply be a case of just adding the page title and that would be that and override the default showing module, site etc

Thanks

Try a look in: includes/nukeSEO/dh/dh.class.php

At the top of the file you will find the Configurable options.

There you have the chance to set a suffix for each aera: ModSuffix, CatSuffix, SubCatSuffix and ContentSuffix. But it will only work page-wide for each module. Play with it, maybe you find a way for you.

You can create also a extended class to the dhclass for each module. Check the other files in the /dh/ folder. Its not easy but also not really hard to follow the logic. The logic is not clear on the first view but if you deal with it a little bit, so that you can implement really great things. I created for my gallery a dh-file that overrides the module-areas and also the module-title with a database entry of the gallery's db-table. KGuske has done a really great work.
