How to test it?

Have just installed Sentinel 1.2.0 and want to test it.
have searched the forum an tried to test some illegal request others have been banned for, but it dosen't work.. any ideas? =)

If this is an upgrade install try dropping and recreating the tables. If its not I guess I'd try that anyway because other then that the only install is adding the include line to the mainfile.php and you'd get another error when entering the Sentinel admin area if you missed that.

It is a clean install, have uninstalled and installed it again. Edited the blocker settings in the config to block&mail, as before, i beleve this is ok?
mainfile is fixed with the include.

still dont work, but i can ban my ip manually..

Strange. neither ban is working?

Some common issues to persue.
email lookup is failing.
htaccess is not chmod 666

If you come up with any errors let me know and we'll sort it out for you.

Ahh, thanks.. I've been setting the rights on the wrong .htaccess file, found one under /abuse/ *silly me* Embarassed
