is_numeric filter

hey guys!

what is with is_numeric? give it a function for this in RN25?

Not sure I understand.. Is there a reason you can't use is_numeric currently?

But the question was whether such a thing exists. Before I write things wild, I try to stay clear.

Well, RN3.0 is going to end up using phpInputValidator (most likely - at least in the current plan), which will allow you to apply many different validations. Not sure what it uses under the covers. Most functions in the PHP manual will work... if you are ever not sure, just run a quick test with a test script... and if it doesn't work, ask your host if they would enable it for you (they may not in some cases if they see it as a security risk).
