A Man Named Pearl

A man named pearl is a documentary about a man that has spent the last 25 years of his life turning his yard into a topiary garden, many times working in darkness after his 12hr shift at a factory. Inspiring story about hard work, happiness, creativity, and what it really means to "be somebody".

Yes I've seen 3 times and plan on getting the dvd. One of those stories that restores your faith in humanity. Pearl can usually be found working in his garden, but welcomes guests for free and always stops what he's doing to talk to them. Spends time working with disadvantaged children, and has tutored many of his neighbors who have also started doing topiary in their yards. He has a sense of spirituality that could be appreciated by many faiths, and a knack for inspiring people to find their own strength and happiness. 5 stars!
