I just had Nuke Projects installed and I am running into an issue with the % of the project not calculating from the task completion.
I have it at www.pulseteam.org
Any suggestions?
Thank you |

I'm impressed, the last time I looked at this it didn't work on RN. |

Jaded and I ran into some fixes that were listed here. But this one has stumped me so far. |

I believe I can remember there was an issue with because I had it installed on one of my sites but you also need to configure it.I´m not sure the % thing is a real bug. |

the % thing I am not sure whats going on. in the admin area where you can type in the % you want it says (0 = Percentage taken from tasks) or close to that. I set it to that and it does not figure.
Hmm |

First step does the value get set in the database. If it does then you know it is a problem on the front end. |

Honestly i have no idea how it works. Here is the stuff I have found so far in relations to the progress bar.
echo "<td align='center' bgcolor='$bgcolor2'><nobr><b>"._PJ_PROGRESSBAR."</b></nobr></td>\n";
echo "<tr><td bgcolor='$bgcolor2'>"._PJ_STATUSPERCENT.":</td>\n";
echo "<td><input type='text' name='project_percent' size='4'>% "._PJ_STATUSPERCENT_CALCULATE."</td></tr>\n";
echo "<tr><td bgcolor='$bgcolor2'>"._PJ_STATUS.":</td>\n"; |

This doesn´t help to find out if it works correctly or not. Try to change it in the administration to 50 % completed and save it.If it doesn´t save the changes and its still 0 than there is an issue with. Check also the database like Palbin suggest.
I don´t have my testsite anymore so I can´t check this.
But you can always try WorkBoard instead. |

If I change it in the administration at project completed 50% then it will show 50% completed. (I set it to 37% for now for show and tell).
What would I be looking for in the Database?

I guess I misunderstood this and I still believe thats the way it works.
So maybe someone with a installed Nuke Project module can tell you more. |

Hope so But in the Nuke Projects is says this next to the % feild:
Status Percentage: % (0 = Calculate Percentage from Tasks)
And that is what is getting me. I put in "0" and it stays "0" but if I put in another number it does that %.
But thank you for your input. |

Tizwit, I am interested in getting this working for a website I am working on, but I am having trouble finding the post where you and jaded worked out the fixes. Can you point me in the right direction and I'll have another go at installing it and see if I can help. |

Right.......
It is a long time since I used this script so this is from memory.
The Status Percent allows you to enter an abitrary % for project completion.
For example, you might want a project called 'New Module Design Stage', but it would be silly to detail a million and one tasks to it as it is a task in and of itself. So you can enter the % there directly.
If you set the value to 0 then it will taken it's percent from the number of completedtasks. So if you have ten tasks and one is 'completed' then the percentage will show as 10% |

I don´t have issues with the Work Board and Weblinks.
So if you can´t fix it try Work Board instead.

I found a bigger issue with the work board is that I could not go in and edit a task. When I try to edit a task it would bring up a blank task. This only happens a short time after entering the task. If I go right back in after creating a task it works fine but give it 30 minutes or so it won't allow me to edit any tasks. |
