It will not let me do step three due to the following:

- zlib compression support Unavailable

.htaccess Found - Not Writeable
.staccess Found - Not Writeable

Where are these at on the FTP server so i can make them writeable.

Also your program is great, i love RavenNuke comes with alot of addons etc.

Well nice to meet you too smokey07!

Please remember this is a Open Source Project, you have not paid for the product and this is not a full time job for the Moderators and Site Admins here. Therefore depending on the question it may take a couple of days for a reply.

Now back to your question. Have you asked your host if this should be available, or can be made available?

I must admit I am not to sure on a way to get past that point in the installer, hopefully Raven or one of the other admins will know, but you always have the option to load the tables manually using the SQL and phpmyadmin.

Is this a free host? If it isn't then I would inquire about it.

That's pretty unbelievable that any host would not include that in their PHP installation. Ask your host to recompile PHP with the zlib libraries ('--with-zlib'). Short of that, you will have to manually unzip the archived files in the INSTALLATION/sql folder and then manually load each file into phpMyAdmin.

Thanks for the help Raven, i was thinking about using your host actually, could you refer me to which plan i could use with your PHP that would work good. I am looking to spend 5-10 a month. I see some of them are not recommended for content mangament, what does this mean?

It means they aren't large enough to support the disk file and database requirements. I recommend the 2/200 package at a minimum.
