I really, really miss the Old Referers.

I miss looking though them....and I miss the Old Admin Block to see the latest.

So I said..."Well by-golly, I will go write us a block".....

One problem....The DB for referers only has two fields and they are in Alpha order....No time stamps.

How can we add a time stamp field and/or get them put into the database in the order they come in at.

This way we could either stort by Time or sort by last X entries...

Am I missing something here? (other than the old Referers block)

You will have to modify sentinel. Should be easy. You would just need to add a timestamps field and then modify the refer code to update the timestamps instead of just check if the fefer is already in the DB.

Maybe I am missing something, but Sentinel displays the referrers along with a date and time of the last visit.

Please point the way. Maybe I am missing something. (Been known to happen ALL THE TIME)

When I hit display refereres I get a Alpha listing of them. I looked at the DB and all there is...is a # and a referer, no time stamp.

I think you are in the standard referers table, not the sentinel ones. And again, Sentinel displays referers by users referred by default but you can also choose to sort the list by date and hits.

NukeSentinel -> Tracked IP Menu -> Display Tracked Referers

then at the very top right of the list you will have a form that allows you to change the order of the list.

You need to make sure IP tracking is turned in the Sentinel Administration menu.
