Hi,

I am trying for allmost an hour allready to make this version work and I can't sem to do it right. Installed older version on NS some years ago without problem but now ...

I think the problem is the tar file itself ... I can uncompress all files and place them where they should be but nothing seems to work. NS admin link doesn't show up and clicking the NukeSentinel module link gives me error 404 while all the files are on the right place.

I decided to open a file like admin/case/case.nukesentinel.php and vi returns this warning:

Quote:
"html/admin/case/case.nukesentinel.php" [Incomplete last line][converted] 187 lines, 5708 characters

I get this for allmost all the files I openend ... tried uploading them in ascii / binary or auto but no change ...

Any ideas? I can't open all files manually and save them to make it work Neutral

I would download with Firefox and try to uncompress the files with 7Zip
http://www.7-zip.org/ or
http://www.tugzip.com/
and you also need to check the folder Edits_For_Core_files and edit your files.

I know we sound like a broken record, but if it is not too late download RavenNuke and Sentinel comes preinstalled. Wink

Should the admin part show up without the Edits on core files?

Downloaded the 2600 version from sourceforge directly with wget on my linux machine and I am getting the same error ... pretty strange if you ask me ...

Could this be a setting on my linux machine causing this problem?

Also is there a direct link somewhere to access the latest version 2601 so I can try that one with wget and start all over.

Probably not as the installation is not complete.

Wasn't aware Bob was still updating the sourceforge pages so I don't know what the problem might be.

Unlikely

You can get the latest from nukescripts.net.
Unpack it locally (if your using Ubuntu the archive manager should do that automatically) the upload the files in BINARY mode.
Make sure you remove any previous NS installation if you have an old one as there have been some changes to the file structure which may impact it's usability.

Hope that helps.
