I have an idea and wondered if anyone knows the answer?

I am creating a few different Rnuke sites and I have a basic html webpage as a hub with links to them all. Is it possible to show the visitors and members currently on each nuke site on the hub page?
Can I modify the whos online module?

If this is in the wrong area sorry

If they are all the same database, you can query the different sessions tables to show such data. Otherwise your script will manually have to connect to each database to query them

Ok, thanks for the reply, unfortunately the sites i am creating are all seperate databases. I thought it might be a little too difficult.

What about if there was a page with just the visitor info on and i used I frame to insert? maybe thats old fashioned!!

pdfx, well, better yet is to create a small script that you can place on each site which all it does it produce an XML feed of the data that you want (doesn't even have to be XML... really, you just need to be able to read it. Then, on your HTML page, if you are using PHP to generate that page, it could read all those feeds in and write out the HTML page. If it is straight HTML, you could still write Javascript to read the "feeds" and produce the needed HTML.

Either way, data has to come out of the sessions tables as Evaders has mentioned. So, the question becomes can you make remote database calls. If so, maybe you could do that. If not, you could still accomplish what you want to do. My personal preference would not to expose your databases to remote calls and instead go the XML route.

Yeah I understand what you are saying and agree, but its slightly out of my reach with the coding..

Would be cool to have the actual visitors online both members and visitors,
Plus the amount of hits in the day

I anyone will give me a quote for that?
