Table '*******_bbtopics' is marked as crashed

Hello all, I am getting this error

Table '*******_bbtopics' is marked as crashed and should be repaired
Table '*******_bbtopics' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

So my forums have completely crashed Crying or Very sad

How would I go about fixing this and why would it have happened?

Servers crash for different reasons. When a table is in use (open) and the server is interrupted, the result can be the table is left open and locked/damaged.

Log into cPanel and select phpMyAdmin.
Then select the database that is having the problem(s).
When the table directory is displayed you will be able to see the table(s) that has issues. It will probably say In Use.
Select the table(s) and at the bottom of the table listing should be a drop down box that says With selected.
Select Repair table.

That should resolve your problem(s). If not just post back.
