Adding other links to the Modules block

Is it possible to add links to other pages etc in the modules block? If so, how? This will help me out a lot.

Hmmm.. I just mustn't be typing the correct search terms or don't realise that what I'm looking at is the answer. Doesn't matter though.

After thinking about it it occurs to me that I could just hide the module block and create a navigation block of my own that links to the various modules I want to use as well as important pages I might type up. Too easy.

I'm going to leave this post as a message to myself so I remember how I plan to solve this problem.

Does anyone see any holes in my cunning plan?
