This problem seems very isolated, and I am not sure what is causing it.
Some users of my forums claim that when they go to the forums main page, they will see that certain forums have new topics since last visit.
They will go into one of these forums, read the new thread topic and then click on the link at the bottom or top of the page to go back to the forum homepage.
Suddenly, all forums are marked as read.
I, personally have not had this happen on any of my computers, from anywhere.
They also claim it happens if they simply hit their back button to go back to the forum homepage.
Anyone heard of this? version 2.02.02 with phpbb 2.0.2
It was happening before the 2.02.02 update and it is still happening.
I had them clear cookies and try again later and that didn't help either. |

I have someone complaining about this same thing. I am not 100% sure of their version of nuke but it is most likely 7.6 not ravennuke. I do not know if they have any patches but my guess is no.
Has anyone had this issue or better yet resolved it? Thanks |

i figured this out.
in your forum configuration. Delete the first three lines. Then logout as admin and regular user. Then relogin. All will work correctly. I cannot explain why exactly but it fixes the issue. |

Are you referring to the cookie configuration? |

I think this might possibly be related to the server configuration. Some hosts redirect [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] to [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]
By leaving the cookie domain set to [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] it is possible that it may cause 'cookie confusion' as new posts/read posts are reliant upon cookies. |

Is there any issue with leaving the fields blank? |
