Customise Avatar Gallery

I would like to customise the avatar gallery but despite an extensive search am unable to find the solution. The default is 10 avatars across and I wish to reduce this to about 5 as I plan to replace avatars with new ones 80px by 80px. I dont want users to have to scroll horizontally so I would appreciate someone's advice on this.

I found the solution, eventually. Go to modules/your account/index.php. Find

if ($temcount == 10) {
echo "<br>";
$temcount -= 10;
}
$temcount ++;

and change values
