Nuke 8.0 is NOT being developed by FB!!

Hello all,

first let me introduce myself, i am Quake, developer of Nuke Evolution and Nuke Patched.

I just talked to phoenix-cms (also known as perfect-games), and he told me he is getting payed by FB to write nuke 8.0.

I have seen a few screenshots, he aint doing bad work.

New thing is the complete new forums system. BBtoNuke is no more in nuke 8.0.

He told me he wanted to keep nuke alive!

There will also be a new theme system which will work on CSS, thats what i got told.

Any comments on this stupid story?

What is there to comment on ?
Personaly i believe people should work together on the nuke development but this will never happen.
Its like a ship,you cant have 2 captains,and in this case it would be atleast 20 captains.
Whoever starts a nuke development will never convince the nuke community to choose the newer cause people are stuck on their version....coming from php-nuke FB.
Like i said before,lets say a new nuke will be developed,you end up with a few thousand users but it will die slowly like other attempts.
I believe that developers should take on the fight with fb to force him into changes,and even with publishing proof of whats wrong with it.

Tell you what, give me a couple of hours to throw some html pages together and I can give you as many 'screen shots' for V8.0 as you like!
Heck, I might even do some for 8.1 and 8.2 while I am at it just so you know what the new forums will look like etc.

Without sample code, there is no proof that ANY work has been done on this alleged version 8.0 and despite request for sample code (which has conveniently fell on deaf ears) I would urge anyone reading this thread to treat these claims as just that - 'claims'.

Foor the record, this is my own personal view and has nothing to do with ravenphpscripts.com or anyone or anything else.

What FB should be doing is paying good people like Raven and chatserv.
I don't believe phpBB should be replaced with a new system, especially since you know they won't be tested much before FB releases another version for his "Club" members
