I don't know if this would work or not but if I put this line...

Code:
require_once("mainfile.php");

or this line...

include "mainfile.php";

into third party addons, modules and blocks will Sentinel keep an eye on them? Or will it screw them up?

Yes to the first part. As to whether it will screw them up, well that would depend on whether there would be avariable naming clash or a duplicate function name. Most modules should already have that if they conform to the model.

Thanks Raven,

I know Sentinel is the bomb and it works.... I've been going over this Caloway's Cart 2.1b code trying to update to the new abstraction layer. Well anyway the code looks like it's asking for trouble as is. Some of the files don't call mainfile.php and I just wondered if I added the include if it would help.

I've decided just not to use CCart after two or three days and nights of it kinda works and could work better if your a programmer. I think I saw a post similar to that in their support forum.

I'm trying osc2nuke7x4, so far it works from the get go which is a relief to me. I just stopped by to check out the Sentinel manual again. I had the HTTP Auth working on the site I just wiped out to install osc2nuke and now I have to do it again but I forgot what to do:)

Thanks for the info again, I'll be able to use it with other addons if they are veak.
