Trying to do a local install of raven nuke for screwing around purposes and its throwing the following error. I'm thinking I screwed up in the config files someplace, but the solution isn't obvious to me at the moment; I'm pretty new with php and sql so if anyone could throw me a quick bone here I'd really appreciate it.

Warning: ob_start(): second array member is not a valid method in C:\wwwroot\mainfile.php on line 66

I've got php 5.4, appache 2.2 and mysql 5.5 on windows.

I'm also having a hell of a time getting Magic Quotes GPC turned on to make the RN as happy as possible, if anyone knows the switch to get it on in the php.ini file that would be great too.

PHP 5.4 was just release and we have not had time to review it yet. I believe Magic Quotes GPC has been removed in PHP 5.4. For now I suggest dropping down to PHP 5.3.x.

BTW, if you are using a fairly recent version of RN (last few major releases), I cannot see why you need to have GPC turned on? Is there some really old module you are using which requires GPC to be on?

Not sure why this is, but I noticed our recommended setting in the installer environment check is ON.

Downgraded as suggested, and yes, I was asking because it's recommended to be "on" in the installer. Probably just an oversight, then.

Yeah, should probably be reviewed and adjusted if needed.

Thanks for the reminder!
