Slideshow news?

Im not sure this is the right place for this but ill try and please tell me if its wrong.

I want a center block whit a image slideshow. The images who is shown are in one folder on the site alone.

On each image there wil be some text, this text is taken from the title on the news.

when i click on the image its a link to the news the text is from.

It do not have to take the latest news, but the one i choose, by news number or something else. The same whit the pictures. Can have it so the pictures is named the same as the news number, and if there is no picture whit that news number it is one standard picture.

It dont have to be a module or something for nuke, only so it pick the info from the db.

Can someone help me make this, og point me in the right direction.

You may want to post in the For Hire forum. I don't believe there is anything out there like this at the moment.

They are using 'lightbox' for that so if you google for that, you should have a wealth of information to start you off Smile

Personally, for things like that I prefer Mootools but most of the current javascript libraries like Mootools, jQuery etc will allow you to create a similar (if not better) affect.
