I have NukeSentinel 2.5.13 and PHP-Nuke 7.633. If I disable the site for maintenance with Sentinel the security code for admin.php is blocked in some way. Has anyone else experienced this?

Does it work if the site is not disabled for maintenance?

The security code works again, if I enable the site in Sentinel. I have only tested this on a local server with Xampp.

I guess I am confused. In order to disable the site, you have to be logged in as admin, and the point is that at that point, the site, is, well, disabled. You definitely should not log out of admin until your maintenance is done, and you should not leave it disabled for a very long time (or clear your cookies).

I guess that I just never tried to log in again to admin after it was disabled...

I have not used this feature yet, but I was thinking of using it, if I change web host. It could then be diabled for up to two days and then it would be good to log out as admin for such a long period.

Well, that is exactly what I did about 1.5 years ago when I moved hosts. I guess that I should have been more concerned about staying logged in for that long.

At least we know how to get beyond that right? By using phpMyAdmin? And, if its only for a once-in-a-while event like moving the entire site.

The key question back to you is when you mean "blocked" are you saying that no admin can log into admin.php? If the answer is "yes", then that is a good thing IMO.

The security code of admin.php login is not visible, when the site is disabled and thus it is impossible to login again. It is naturally possible to enable the site again with phpMyAdmin. But, I don't think this feature is good.
