Question regarding advertising

Recently I received an email from someone requesting to have some links advertised on my client's site. When I went to the advertising setup, I absolutely have no clue how to set it up.

Can anyone point me somewhere that can assist me on setting up pricing, what impressions are, etc...?

Hello Steve,

If you are unsure of the "going rate" for advertising I would suggest that you take a look at the rates here, via Raven's advertising, and a few other sites. Check out the sites in the reccomended sites block on the home page. Then compare the prices, clicks, etc and try to keep your prices competive. It can be rather hard to come up with a ballpark for advertising on your own. I have been to some sites, nukecops for example, and they are sky high.

But then missed your question regarding pricing.

I agree with jaded. For me, it was a very difficult thing to do and it also depends heavily on how "relevant" your site it. There is probably a clear reason why I haven't sold many ads... Laughing
