Different google rankings on diff connection??????

Hello all for some time I have had 2 web pages that I promote for affilates, thing is even though one page has a rank 4 and the other has a rank 5 they dont show up in google etc.... strange thing today I decided to upload some files to old webspace that requires a dial up 56k connection. While I was doing a search on that connection in google.com the same as I would normally do on my broadband connection I can see both pages ranked on the first page??? I decided to change my connection back to broadband to see that my pages had dissapeared again?? how weird what is going on here? how can the connection make a difference? doesnt make sence???

Sounds like one of the providers you are using may be caching pages (think proxy) and the other not.

How strange, why would it be just my pages? could it be something to do with my web hosting of these pages? my service provider is BT British telecom one of the largest providers why would they cach pages?
