I downloaded the Old Articles block from your download section... and I was wandering how can I make it to show only 10 old articles not everyone... I looked at the block, and I tried to hack it a bit... But I get error messages...
Please Help..

Thanks for help... I didn't notice this setting in the prefs... Embarassed

Sorry for beeing such a pain in the a.... but I've got the same problem as I had with NSN News... When I point a news with my mouse... every polish sign gets changed... Maybe someone can tell me if I can add some code to point the charset to the right one and have the polish signs where they should be...

Thanks... Smile

Looks like the charset is there but not in the <head> section of the page for the news pop ups. Try moving the line to the <head> section.

The page is not using header.php where meta tags are pulled from.

Code:
echo "<META HTTP-EQUIV=\"Content-Type\" CONTENT=\"text/html; charset=ISO-8859-2\">\n";
in read_article.php ?

In the News Page everything is OK... but in the Old Articles Block the signs are messed up... I've downloaded the Raven's Old Articles block, which displays the article's content when you point it... but I can't use it like this... I tried moving the:

Code:

echo "<META HTTP-EQUIV=\"Content-Type\" CONTENT=\"text/html; charset=ISO-8859-2\">\n";

Into the <head>, and it didn't help... Have you got any idea what may be wrong...

Ok at least we know that much works ok then.

Try adding into the original block
hometext, bodytext to the select statement
then take Ravens code
$total_text = htmlentities(strip_tags($row[hometext];.' '.$row[bodytext]));
$total_text = "title=\"$total_text\"";
and add it just before setlocale(LC_TIME, $locale);

Then add $total_text to the urls where title= should be.
