Two sites using the same user data

Hi.. yes its me again LOL !!

Ive another issue and Im losing the will to live lol

The two sites work great off one user table no problems apart from one and I think it has something to do with cookies.... now you may tell me that theres nothing I cant do, but at least then I know.

The problem is this, the new posts flags just dont work at all on either site, the did before I linked them but not now ... either they just dont show up as un read posts or then do and wont go away after i read them..

You guys got any ideas ?

you noticed that with the second site when you click on the big image you get :

dont forget to change the url in the flash image.

yeah just removing the old site and will be moving the new one to the root instead of using a splash page

I have read countless forum threads and stil cant find anything ... The two sites are producing two different cookies but still have the problem of unread message flags clearing when i switch between the two sites.

is this something that cant be fixed with linked user tables ?

That's one of the disadvantages of using one users table. The forums stores read/visit information in the users table and that will produce the effect that all forums will be seen as visited and read. There's no way around this.
