Question about Nuke Sentinel in Raven Nuke

I have a question, last night I logged into my email and had about 50 emails from Nuke Sentinel, I had different people from different ips try to hack my site. They were not blocked but rather an email was sent. The reason for the email was the Abuse-Script. I was looking in the Nuke Sentinel control panel and noticed this is defaulted to sending an email only. I was wondering is there a reason for this or could I set it up to email, block, and send to default page. Would this case some problems, My last post about the ip tracker mod and the user names I set up was one of the emails.

well you can choose in the drop down menu also for block and email ban etc....
just check your settings........

I would look carefully at my log and also at the emails from Sentinel and see what the script attacks were. You might also want to see if there is any commonality in the IP addresses being used and ban the IP's or even the whole countries where these attacks are coming from. As Hitwalker indicates you can just use the blocker configuration within NukeSentinel administration to change the action that's taken when a script attack is detected but you'd be well advised to do a little background work first. Or ban them and do the background work after.
