Hi All

Running RavenNuke76 v2.02.02 Distro bog standard.

All the nessesary has been activated for sig's as I've looked at all the previous posts here re: sigs.

I go though profile in the forum and enter my sig . I then go to my post and find this in place of my sig, "[img:70d7995463]blablalba[/img:70d7995463" without the quotes. My picture is at [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

Any ideas?

Cheers,

JC

your signiture contains too many charactors. This happened to be once before. If you put in too many, it will break the code.

Hi Jaded

Thanks for the input, but I don't think this is the case. The character limit is default at 350. An this is one of the first things I check.

Any other ideas?

Regards,

JC

yes, remove all from your signiture in your forums profile. then put

blah blah blah test

as your signiture. See if you still have the same issue. Report the result. Then we will move on.

If you have an extra long link, you may need to change the user_sig length in the users table

Hi All

I've attached the sig to my account here that does not want to work at our site, too test it. If it does not work then here it is:

<start>

Your Brother,
Dave/Brad

I fear no man.

Listen! THE LORD ALMIGHTY IS MUSTERING AN ARMY FOR WAR! -Isaiah 13:4-5

Image

<end>

this is what shows once I've submitted it to the account on our site:

<start>

Your Brother,
Dave/Brad

I fear no man.

Listen! THE LORD ALMIGHTY IS MUSTERING AN ARMY FOR WAR! -Isaiah 13:4-5

I forgot to select "allow signature". Here we go again.

mmmmm

Seems you have "Allow signatures" deselected at the config level.

Anyway you get the picture above.

Any ideas.

I note the image has a png extension - is this allowed on your site in the forum settings?

Hi Guardian2003

Thanks for the input. I didn't now there was a setting to allow or disallow .png images. Could you be more specific of where it is please?

Hmm, I was sure there was a setting - I may have got confused with an add-on I have ised in the past.
I apologise for the confusion.
Out of curiosity though, have you tried it with a gif image?
