Error After Install

I have looked through the forums but cannot find a fix for my problem

i have followed install instuctions twice but i am still gettting this error

Code:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/*****/public_html/mainfile.php on line 1029

Any suggestions ??

You made some kind of error in editing mainfile, probably inserting an extra brace { or something of that nature. Choices: either look at the edits you did real carefully against the instructions or just reload the mainfile from the distribution and redo the edits (carefully). Functions (and mainfile is mainly a series of functions) have to be started with an opening brace { and closed with an closing brace }. If there is one that is open and not closed when the PHP interpreter gets to the end statement you will see the error that you do.
