It took some time to get the treasury module installed.......but thats nothing new.

I am noticing alot of my modules are showing correctly.
Seems like alot of my modules get rid of the right blocks now, instead of letting the right blocks display. I know the index=1 fix to make some of them show, but I was wondering if theres an easier way (than finding all the modules, and editing all the index files)

Is this a bug, or is this by design.

I was also having a problem with the donations block bleeding over into the survey block (which I searched ravennukes forum, and could only find where it was posted that the only way to fix, is to get rid of the server block.

I have been using phpnuke for sometime now, and just installed raven 2 days ago (cause people keep talking about how secure it is)

Would I be better off using what I had, and just installing sentinal, or should I stick with raven and check for fixes?

Check those module index.php file for a the value of $index. That controls whether or not the right blocks are displayed.

There is definitely a fix for the donations block bleeding over into the survey block. Keep searching and you'll find it, I think (maybe just "donations block").

It's hard to tell you if you're better off with what you had, without knowing what you had (i.e. which version) or what you mean by "better off." If better off means more secure: In general, RN is way more secure than 7.7+, much more secure than 7.6- that are unpatched, and more secure than patched versions without NukeSentinel. Having those functions and security already integrated saves you time and makes sure it is tested.

If better off means the number of bugs, much more testing has gone into RN than the standard Nuke distributions.

If better off means better functionality, there are a number of tweaks, enhancements, and pre-installed additional modules that make RN better than the standard Nuke.
