SMTP mail and account activation

I have installed the 76_v2.02.00_FULL Raven package from scratch and all seems to be fine.

I have setup a authenicated SMTP relay and configured this on the forums module and sure enough I get mails when adding my test user to groups etc.

However, I never get mails from the main site when registering users. I assume this is becuase it is trying to send out direct or locate semdmail or something like it.

I am using a hosted service running windows.

So my question is realy simple. Where is the config for now the main site should send mail !?!?!

If, as an Admin, you are creating user accounts then there is no email sent as far as I am aware.

phpNuke only uses the local PHP mail() function - need to make sure your host uses it and has it properly configured. [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]
