clean 2.02 install - page not found click news topic from ho

i have a fresh install of 2.02 - just double checked files, it seems, from the home page, when clicking the image for a topic, the link is for "http://www.domain.com/search.php?query=&topic=2" -- cept that, there's no search.php -- so i get the lovely 'pge not found' error.

any idears? Rolling Eyes

What theme are you using? Looks like a old theme

oh .. hmm .. interesting thought. .. it's XPMidnight -- i did have to do updates for right blocks to work .... any ideas where i look and for what to fix?

i did a quick search thru the files for any files containing 'search.php' and didn't find anything .... Confused

ahhh .. d-d-def-def-definitely is the theme (i hadn't even thought of it .. d'oh!) .. i changed to some other themes (fisubice, etc) and the link is right (http://www.<domain>.com/modules.php?name=News&new_topic=2)

hmm ... so, now .. where to fix ???

ok ... further research ... in theme.php found:
search.php?query=&topic=$topic

and replaced with:
modules.php?name=News&new_topic=$topic

i had 2 occurances .. and i (now) seem to be good ... thanks for the tip on the theme!
