hi i woud like to change the links in the news module.... automaticly, i'm using a feed importer so it can't be on post function.... or can it be?

example:
[ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

turns into:
[ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

rafamp, I am knew to the "feed importer" concept so help me out a little. Is it something that is pulling in news articles real time, or is it something you have to run on occassion to go "get" the new articles to post?

I was afraid you were going to say that! Laughing

You could possibly use Google Tap (actually, I would use GT-NextGEn) to rewrite those URLs appropriately. You can get the .4 beta here and then if you want, you can then also apply the .4a patch:
[ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

We have a GT forum here at Raven's if you need to do more research on it.

It is a way to re-write URL's (you must be using Apache). I was thinking that even if you did not want to use it to re-write all your URL's -- basically to shorten them -- you may be able to use it to re-write just these news module URLs to have the format you require.

Not sure if it would work in this case, but it was just something I was thinking might be useful to you.
