hi,

just wondering...
accounts that are still in a temporary fase should be deleted....right?
But is it certain that they realy are deleted ?
and if that function fails somehow what can the reason be ?
Is that been tried out ?

Should be expired/deleted according to what is set in the usersconfig. Your saying its not I take it?

im not sure,because i had to dump my members into the 7.6 site i couldnt wait but if im not mistaken one new member probably was to lazy to activate it and was over the 24 hours..
the temp accounts is set to expire after 1 day
well you can try it out...signup but dont activate it.
il approve it and see what happens after 24 hours...

Done. To be honest I never thought about it much but should the accounts expire when set to admin approve only? This assumes the admin is available within the amount of time set.

i approved it and you probably got the mail....so leave it.
so the same time tomorrow you should be deleted automatically ?
see if that happens...

(edit : should the setting approve by admin have any influence ?)

Good question I've some work to do here but I'll check into it more before the next time I can get back here after tonight it might not be until sunday.

hi sixonetonoffun,

as said by pm it doesnt delete the new members that havent activated their account.
that means if set on approval....
is there a workaround for this?

Yeh I went through the files we'll see what we can come up with. I've a rough script just have to test it a little. Expect something Sunday or Monday.
