Deactivated members related question

I deactivated a user and don't see how to reactivate them.

What is the difference between deactivate and suspend?

I think the difference is deactivate means the username cannot be reused but will never be reactivated. ie so nothing is disturbed on the site rather then deleting the user.

Suspend is when you want to have the option to set the user active again.

You can reset the user status from phpmyadmin using
UPDATE nuke_users SET user_active = '1' WHERE username = 'username here';
UPDATE nuke_users SET user_level = '1' WHERE username = 'username here';
You'll also have to set a password for them if I remember. Just use modify user.

So if I ever plan on letting the user back I should use suspend not deactivate.

Yes Sir. I'll see if I can get a warning message into the deactivate process. Otherwise this is bound to come up often.
