PHP-Nuke:Easy Search Engine Query[eC-SE-Query]

Hi everyone,

As I am in the middle of the development process, I thought you might be interested to share bits 'n' pieces prior to *PHP-Nuke* dedicated release.

So, what's all the fuzz about this time? Smile

Please let me clarify the issue - we're talkin about *PHP-Nuke - Easy Search Engine Query [eC-SEQ] that will allow *PHP-Nuke Site Administrator* effectively monitor the SEARCH ENGINE(s) RELATED TOTAL PAGE COUNTS with multiple used SE META TAG queries.

Basically this means, that we perform a number of SE Queries regarding the included SEARCH ENGINES (Google, Yahoo, AltaVista, AOL...) with DIFFERENT USED META TAGS being used, such as (*site:* ; *link:* ; *allinurl:*; *related:*; etc...) - this information will be then further gathered and cached for *PHP-Nuke* associated BLOCK (center area) presentation purposes.

[BTW, AOL would appear to, based on the performed trials, have some mutually shared query syntaxes present, which would seem to have been generally either left undocumented or overseen by majority of the SE specific information sources (just as an interesting observation). Hence, I'll include those *with proven AOL dedicated SE Query mechanisms* to associated package as well. Furthermore, AOL related results will be based on approximation, since AOL provides the number of PAGES (max. (10) matches in each page) instead of EXACT match account.]

So far so good - so, what. What possible could this Add-On have to offer for a *PHP-Nuke* Site Admin?

IMHO, there are at least the following ones potentially present:

Q : Will you include also the *non PHP-Nuke* related codes to the *PHP-Nuke* dedicated package/release?
A : Yes, of course. It'll be a whole lot of easier to expand the used straight-forward approach for other SEARCH ENGINES being not included to code release. It'll be also easier to use the mainframe approach as a development basis for other CMS's and non-CMS purposes) in case of interest.
