Make myself admin/moderator

Hello,
I got my forums to work but when i did test post it showed me as newbie i have 2 accounts one for the admin of the site so i can control everything and another one for just logging on the site but with no admin priv, but i dont want to show up as newbie when i post on the forums?

Change the permission for your username in forum admin. User Admin - Permissions.

Funny thing, in my User Admin I'm set as "Site Admin" but I'm also in the moderator group. For some reason my name shows up orange instead of green (as it should with being set to Admin). Any idea why?
