Donation module safe ?

I have two donations module installed a while back. Now I wonder which one is more safe because the older one uses a different database for the tables.If ´my website will be hacked does it matter where the tables of the donation module are ?
I tend to believe the one donation module with the different database is more safe. Maybe I´m wrong. Any ideas ?

I do not think there is anything vital stored in the tables. I do no think it matters much.

Thanks, I suppose now both are good enough. As long as there are no new reported security holes.
