addon domain and nuke sentinel login

I have a site which I just mess around with, anyway my daughter wants to run a site so I thought I would just add one on ( if she decides to continue with it then fine ill set up an account for her ).

so I created an add-onn domain called anime-toys.co.uk, which is not redirectedd, all I did was add it on and loaded it up with RNNuke 2.40.01.
After instillation I attempted to login to admin and was refused.
5 times I tried to enter the user-name and password I set up during the installation, and it would not work.
So I tried the nuke Sentinel user and password for the main site and it worked fine, my question is have I messed something up or forgotten to do something?

Should normally work with extra NukeSentinel user and password. Check your settings in db and .htaccess. However, I have noticed such a similar behavior at one of my subdomains. I´m just a bit lazy to correct it.

sigh.. no, this is basic. For every domain and sub-domain you must have a separate mysql database.. If you have a RN main install you must have an RN main mysql database, and if you put on a sub-domain you must have a sub-domain mysql database. There are no exceptions, set up a separate database for your daughter and you will have no further conflicts.

southern, I am not sure that is strictly true, because you can use different prefixes which means you could be using the same database. Also it is possible to share users over two websites using one database.
