The SEO entry on the Navbar is not there when I go into the Admin section but it re-appears when back out to the home page. Is it designed that way? This is on all themes from RN.

Cheers

Yes it is. No one can access the admin except for the admin so keywords would be useless for that section.

Seems opposite to me, the SEO on the Navbar should be there when logged in as admin no matter what page you're on .. Was just curious, no problem. Smile

There is no need to have the SEO on the Navbar when in the Admin control panel because the it is not accessible by the public.

So in answer to your original question, yes I believe it was designed this way.

We ARE speaking of the same SEO, yes? The one where you change/overwrite the headers for keywords and such? The public doesn't have access to that anyway. Not complaining by any stretch - not THAT lazy that I can't click on home to get out of the admin panel. Besides, this is something that's not accessed every day anyways. Was just curious as to why, if it is an admin function only, it's not available in the admin panel. Smile

Because you don't need to change the headers in admin area.

Hmm, so it's only on the index page where it's changed in the head tag .. makes sense since you put it that way.

Well the index page and any other module that has a class defined I believe.

You can specify specific keywords on a module basis.

When I bring up the SEO overwrite feature all I see is "head tag" with no module(s) specified. Is there something that can specifiy certain pages other than the index ??

You just navigate to the module/page you want to edit then click the SEO button.

Ahhh, I see now. If you're on a page in a module and click on SEO, it becomes the "Module Overwrite" function and so on ... I was only stuck on the index page and therefore thought it was for meta tags only. Rolling Eyes
