What is the correct chmod for .htacces .ftaccess and .staccess ? once everything like sentinal is set up etc.

... look under Configuration.

Just a side note though, I always leave .staccess at 644 and adjust it manually, or set it to 666 when I add a new admin and then set it back. Just keeps it slightly more protected.

mrix,

Since we use suExec, you want/need to leave all your folders at 755 and all your files at 644. If you need to have a mass reset just let me know.
